Beyond the Voice

A little about me...

I've slowly made my way from the west coast to the east coast.  Born on the west coast and grew up in Las Vegas, a fun decade stint in the Colorado Rockies and then off to family friendly North Carolina. 

In my life before voice over, I worked as a research scientist in the area of infectious disease microbiology with my Masters of Science in Biology. I love the science, the medical field, and have a good grasp of medical terminology.  

Then came my 3 amazing kids. With their imagination, they helped mold some of the character voices I use today in animation, video games, and other voiceovers. Now that they are teens, I still find my inspiration in them from their crazy inflections to sayings that the younger generation is constantly creating.  

My natural speaking voice has been described as youthful, textured, warm and ranges from the medium low to medium high range. I am able to deliver a brighter and smoother vocal tone in my conversational reads. I can adapt my voice to various age ranged including children (girls and young boys), teen, young adult, and adult.
